Freelance Poker Tournament Reporter (2014-present)
Interactive Media Producer, World Poker Tour (2012-2014)
- Managed the content, staff, and logistics for the WPT Live Updates and WPT Live Streaming products
- Managed the brand's social media portals dedicated to live content (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, YouTube)
- Copy edited all live content to correct grammar and spelling, unify tone, and ensure accuracy
- Copy edited press releases and other external communications; provided input on content and distribution
- Produced graphical front-page rotator slides; generated headlines and captions to attract readers
- Produced video packages with short turnaround for media distribution and insertion into live updates
- Coordinated B2B deliverables with various production vendors to ensure delivery of WPT Live Stream
- Worked with local Gaming enforcement agencies to ensure proper licenses and approvals were in place at each event
- Served as an in-house consultant for matters relating to tournament logistics and player relations
- Helped the Tour fulfill large contractual and financial obligations with sponsors and casino/broadcast partners
- Worked with international casino partners to ensure properties received proper promotion and integration
- Worked with mainstream sponsors like Monster, Hublot, Skrill, and DraftKings to ensure visibility within the live content
- Maintained the Tour's database of player information, vital event data, and statistics
- Streamlined distribution of critical information, including tournament registration lists, chip counts, and prizepools
- Worked with the TV crew to ensure they had all tournament-related assets necessary for production
- Ensured all operations related to live content were executed on time and within allocated budgets

- Provided live tournament updates, including text, photos, videos, and podcasts
- Covered nearly 100 events in more than 20 countries:
- World Series of Poker (5)
- WSOP November Nine (3)
- EPT Grand Final (3)
- Aussie Millions (2)
- PokerStars events across multiple tours (APPT/EPT/LAPT/NAPT) - Assisted with the management of the large WSOP Live Reporting team
- Demonstrated the ability to cover an event alone from start to finish when the need arose
- Developed relationships with a number of poker players and industry luminaries
Senior Staff Writer, PokerNews (2010-2012)
- Wrote timely news and editorial content for pokernews.com and pokerstarsblog.com
- Developed a weekly, football-themed series for PokerNews entitled Pigskin Diaries
- Hired, trained, scheduled, and managed the five-person official WSOP Photography team as acting Photo Editor
- Developed a photo distribution/sales platform and coordinated photo deliverables with the WSOP
- Participated in content discussions and influenced the creative and functional directions of the website
